Description
Reproduced from a unique collagraph print incorporating chine collé. The design is based on the quartered circle referencing the Earth as a whole. Each quarter represents a different season through the application of colour.
Patterning is derived from the aerial map of the artist’s garden which has been stylised. The subtle textures are characteristic of the embedded papers and embossed surface of the original print. The work reflects the changing seasons and includes some of the typical crops that can be harvested.
