Reproduced from the original mixed media work on paper. The format is based on the quartered circle referencing the Earth as a whole. Patterning is derived from the aerial map of the artist’s garden which has been stylised and superimposed at different scales to represent the passage of time.
The carefully torn paper edges bring an inconsistent and natural element to the work. The piece symbolises a macro viewpoint with the garden as an interface.
